Hi! I am the Senior Deputy Principal at Crawford Preparatory School Pretoria. I have been at the school since it started and have seen it grow to an educational institution that is “a force to be reckoned with”. I have a Facebook account – Ian Rothman, where I am able to correspond with the pupils at the school, friends “from the past” and follow the progress of the arrangements for my 20 year Matric Reunion – OLD MAN!

I teach Grade 2 and I am very keen to become more computer literate within the classroom. I did the Intel course last year and found it very interesting. Unfortunately we do not have computers or laptops in our classrooms and as yet I still haven’t got one of my own. (still hoping though!) Here’s hoiping that this will kickstart a technologically exciting year ahead!!

    Hi Maggie
My name is Ian McLeod and I am the principal of Crawford Prep Pretoria. I do appreciate you comming through to today to present your blogworkshop. My computer skills are very basic but will improve particularly with regards to blogging. I see enormous value already and blogging would be an ideal opportunity for me to create a two channel of communication with our parents
My other focus is football refereeing and again blogging would be an ideal way of communicating with referees both locally and internationally

Gardening is one of my passions and between my partner, Verne, we have transformed the crawford gardens into a magical paradise. In fact we are known as the “Garden Invaders”

I hope in the future to be able after this session to have my own bloB, sorry blog!

Here’s to the future!!! You will hear from me soon.

This is sooooo interesting! Can’t wait to get started!
I teach grade 2 and feel it is very important to keep up with the kids today. They know everything and we must keep up with the times.
