Thutong portal debugging
I know that the Thutong portal team has been working hard to give us a more school 2.0 kind of interface with blogs, forums and learning spaces. So now we need to give them some feedback on the things that are not working (yet). I always get very irritated with people moaning about free resources but not willing to put in the time to help the developers to create a better experience. So, let us give feedback about the little bugs in the system so that we can have a better repository of resources!!!
Just post problems here…I will nag the developers to fix it (and those who know me know that is what I do best
)

Okay…I went to curr–>Fet–> maths–> clikced on “View Resource Details ” + comments link…gave me a server error
Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index

Terribly terribly slow…did a search to see if I could incorporate it in my blog post http://maggiev.edublogs.org/2008/05/16/supporting-your-child-with-homework-assignments/ and 1/2 and hour later my search still did not show up anything….grey screen
my search was a free search: http://new.thutong.org.za/Resources/ResourceResults.aspx?type=freetext&keyword=productivity%20and%20its%20effects%20on%20economic%20prosperity,%20growth%20and%20global%20competition

“Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.”
this should be fixed after the update this morning. It was caused by certain resources not having any curriculum topics… well so i hope
We cannot take any responsibily for the speed of the site! our hosting environment has completely deteriated and upper management are working with Mindset and Verison to rectify the issue.
However if you would like to see the site in all its speed and glory go look at the under-development version at http://thutongnet.bluematrix.co.za .
Ideally if a bug is found, We would suggest going to the developement version (we update the live every friday morning) and see whether it exists there too.
please PLEASE bear with the speed of the site. It is a bandwidth issue that is out of our hands.
Thanks

Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Source Error:
The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:
